Just a brief message: John Murtari was released from the
Onondaga County Justice Center on Friday, March 12th after
21 days. On Wednesday, March 10th a Vigil was held in
Syracuse and the local ABC Network affiliate (Chan 9) did
run a news story that evening which included an "in jail"
interview with John. More details will be posted to the
site next week.
John wants to express his warmest thanks to all who
helped and demonstrated their concern. He got many letters
in jail and made a point of writing a personal response to
every letter received. He will be replying to old E-mail in
the next few days. If you did attempt to contact him, and
do not get a personal reply in the next several days --
please resend your message.
