Formation of a Parent's Leadership Council in Washington, D.C. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Many groups are coming together in Washington, D.C. as part of the celebration of Father's day going on in the U.S. Capital. We will be trying to bring together different groups of Mothers and Fathers working for Family Law Reform. If you (or someone you know) is involved in reform please REGISTER at the web site, http://www.NationalPLC.Org/ (National Parent's Leadership Council) This is the "ground floor" and your input will be valuable! Feel free to distribute this message on another list. 2. Let's ALL get together in D.C. --------------------------------- If you can make the time, please make the trip to Washington for Father's Day. John Murtari, a group coordinator, will be there and is looking forward to meeting many of our members. If you want to make a difference, please take the time and money to travel there for at least Sunday. Feedback from prior messages. ------------------------------- We have some excerpts from E-mail received over the past few weeks. As you read them, maybe you will see how far we have to go in first changing how WE think. After you read the following, maybe take the time to read the NonViolent Action portion of our web site: http://www.AKidsRight.Org/civil.htm (Our whole website and attitude is about self-sacrifice and faith as an effective method of change. If you prefer "anger", this message may appeal to you. Maybe the "end does justify the means" (CAUTION -- it has STRONG language): ================================================================== It's way past too late for any effort to even make a den in this monster. NO effort - using the tools of the system - will serve to bring the monster under control. The only thing that will work is resistance and defiance. Men must say NO and mean no. They must take the law into their own hands and tell the judges how things are going to be rather than the other way around. I've had more than one judge sneer at me for such comments. But judges are uneducated, ignorant, self-willed boors, bought into a system that pays them more than $125,000 per year, gives them outrageous power and an overwhelming caseload, so overwhelming that all cases are stamped with the same rubber stamp. But, what they learn is that when they're on their back, on the ground with no pigs around to protect them, that when their balls are grabbed and squeezed by an iron-strong fist, they, too, scream for mercy. Fuck them, John...or they will fuck you, no matter how strong your faith or deep your resolve. Fuck them. They are indeed ignorant filth. ================================================================== (You Mothers out there will be sure to appreciate this next one. This person thinks that women ARE setting the example -- I guess? Are they for something or AGAINST something?) ================================================================== One possible way to make this work, is to do as NOW does, have ALL of the father's groups create "shadow" organizations with "family"or "child" as opposed to "father" somewhere in the title and TAKE BACK the middle ground from the feminists. The membership of the Father's groups could stay that same, and the members "automatically" enrolled in this new family group. NOW has SEVERAL front organizations that they use to pretend that they are larger than they are. Some of those groups, who are actually NOW "subsidiaries" are "People for the American Way" (all witches and satan worshippers welcome), "Abortion rights league", etc. They simply have the EXACT SAME MEMBERS IN EACH OF THESE GROUPS, but when they "converge" on an issue, they "pretend" that they are a collection of groups with their collective memberships in the hundreds of thousands. They have demonized fathers and marriage, now it's time to show the world what kind of deranged devils they are!! It's time to show the world, that they promote positions that support child abuse, marriage destruction, and even bondage for women who do not support their radical lesbian positions. Make NOW into the "National Organization of Witches" and MAKE IT STICK!! PUSH THE LIAR LABEL ON ALL OF THEIR STATISTICS!! IN EVERY MEETING WHERE THERE ARE FEMINIST GATHERINGS, MAKE THE STATEMENT THAT "PLEASE STOP, IT IS WIDELY KNOWN, JUST ABOUT EVERYWHERE THAT THIS IS MORE OF THE LYING PROPAGANDA THAT NOW IS FAMOUS FOR. WILL YOU PLEASE STOP WITH THE LIES AND GET TO THE TRUTH HERE. OR IS THE TRUTH TOO PAINFUL TO BEAR??" Brand them with the public PERCEPTION that their LYING PROPAGANDA TACTICS are well known. Once they become perceived as a LIAR organization, they will have little or no more power to do anything. Then press the child abuse, and the marriage destruction and brand others with the "NOW" label as they have done with their "deadbeat dads" campaigns. ================================================================== (And Dad's we didn't forget you! So you decide to share with your former spouse and now what do they want -- EVERYTHING! This person experienced the pain of separation, but wanted to inflict it again on the other -- after all, a child does need her Mom? Alone? Isn't Dad's home also?) ================================================================== This August will make 1 year since my daughter has lived with me and it has been the worst one of my life. In the original custody agreement I was granted open and reasonable visitation rights. However her father decided that he didn't feel that I could handle her so even though I had been clean for over 7 months at this point, he still refused to let me see her. So, back to court we went and I was unfairly given supervised visits 3x a week!. A week after we started the visits her father called me and asked me if I would take her overnight unsupervised. Of course I jumped at the chance to see my child and since that one overnight our arrangement has gone from supervised to unsupervised overnight visits from Friday to Wednesday. This may sound wonderful to any mother who has fought or is fighting for their child back but unfortunately when I tried to inform the courts of how often I now have her and about how he has since lost his job and is unable to care for her I keep getting pushed to the side and i have to keep taking drug tests. I have been clean now for almost a year, I have a full-time job, I'm beginning college in the fall and I want my daughter with me. I will never say her father is a bad father because when she needed him the most he was there but, I truly believe that a little girl needs her mother. Doesn't every child?
