Syracuse Update - No Arrest on Monday!

On Monday afternoon I took the bus downtown (as usual), spent some quiet time in a local church (as usual), and then walked over to the Federal Building (as usual). What was NOT usual, was that I was allowed to go the 8th floor of the building, where the offices of Senator Charles Schumer are located, and carry pictures of parents & children in the hallway. I got there a little before 2pm and left at about 3:30. The eighth floor also contains offices for the local U.S. Attorney's office and the regional FBI office. There were no unusual incidents. I spent my time quietly walking a circuit of the halls. I said hello to a few of the people on the floor who recognized me from prior efforts. We will be sending out a news release this morning to local and national media. I never cease to be amazed at how things can change! Over night a few people had sent in some kind thoughts in response to the last E-mail. Many thanks! I do plan on returning to the building, although it may not be next Monday.
