Good People & People of Faith, Just a brief update on the results of John Murtari's Federal Trial which was held yesterday, March 18th. He was found guilty on both charges and sentenced by U.S. Magistrate Judge David Peebles to a total of 55 days in jail and a $350 fine. Since he had been held in custody since Jan. 29th, he should be released on Friday morning, March 21st. John did make an impassioned plea to the Judge that any additional sentence not interfere with his son coming to visit him on March 22nd. John deeply appreciates all the letters many of you have written in support. There were no other parents present in the courtroom for the trial.
