Building Manager
Hanley Federal Building
100 S. Clinton Street
Syracuse, NY 13261
Dear Madam,
I was glad to be able to meet you briefly on Monday and I want to thank you
for the courteous treatment from the staff. I won't repeat all the material in
my prior letter regarding the right to petition government representatives
inside the building; but I'd like to avoid problems in the future.
I'm certainly sensitive to security concerns and want to avoid any surprises
for your staff. I plan on returning to the building on Monday, 22 October, at
app. 2 PM. I do not plan to visit any of the Congressional offices, but to
quietly spend some time walking with a picture of some parents/children outside
offices on the 8th and 13th floors.
These efforts will continue until the members of Congress have time to
address the issue of Family Rights. I too would much prefer to be inside their
offices discussing the need for (and helping them prepare) such legislation.
I am happy to speak with you if you have any questions.
Best regards,
John Murtari
