Remember doing the simple things with your child -- so important and at times, so impossible to do!
My son is 25 now and we were lucky to stay close through all the terrible divorce years and having him moved across the country. I can still remember how IMPORTANT it was to do an Easter Egg hunt with him as a parent. I took these pictures years ago to capture the moment!
It was such a BIG DEAL back then. To validate I was still important as a parent. That even though it took a lot more effort, I could still do the normal things most other parents take for granted.... of course, only when our legal system granted us time for a 'visit'......
When you have time, take a look at our revised web site. A new action campaign to get Family Rights recognized and protected will be starting soon. Certainly for me, remembering some of the past provides an inspiration to work for a better future.
