Things have been quiet for a while.  I had to get back to earning some income, which is always useful!  We had a Board Meeting and discussed lessons learned from the past year's actions in Syracuse and future plans.   Some quick bullets:

ONE - We received notification from the IRS that our status as a 501(c)4 has been approved. Glad the paperwork is done and accepted.

TWO - Nothing takes the place of people turning out in person for a local meeting. We've established a Meetup.Com presence and hope to have a good turnout next week, Nov 28th, Nikos Downtown, 6 PM.

THREE - We'll be preparing literature to put on display in Onondaga/Wayne County Family Court's.  I can really use some help from someone in the local area in assisting with this and organizing local meetings.  Feel free to give me a direct call: 315-944-0999, x-211

FOUR (NEWS ITEM) - We need to change perceptions.  Italy is ready to pass a new law which actually incorporates many things we are looking for in equal parenting.  The Washington Post hates it ->

FIVE (NEWS ITEMS) -  A lot of us didn't have a lot of money as we struggled to see our children. Well, as Angelina & Brad show, all the money in the world doesn't make it any fairer, just, or less painful. SIX (THANKSGIVING) - The Holiday are coming and I can still remember the frustration and anguish I felt at trying to see my son!  It has never gone away.  Many of you are in the middle of it now.  You have my sincere thoughts & prayers, and it keeps me wanting to work for real change.
